Shopping can be better - we thought. Easier, more digital, more inspiring and possible at any time. Just like people's everyday lives. What now sounds like a simple idea was the birth of Bertie Goods.

Together with various partners, we have already opened four Bertie Goods stores across Germany. We offer our partners a 360° brand, from branding to the store design concept. We support our partners with location searches, store development, product range, marketing and, of course, we provide the necessary software and hardware. Our partners take care of the operational activities and benefit from attractive income opportunities.

In February 2021, we opened a smarkBox in Renningen together with EDEKA. This innovative project was implemented in collaboration with Edeka Karow Sommer and meets customers' needs for flexibility and convenience. The store offers a wide range of groceries and other products around the clock, seven days a week. Thanks to its favourable location at the train station in Renningen, the market is easily accessible and offers a convenient shopping opportunity for commuters, residents and travelers.

Since May 2024, our customer marktzeit has been offering high-quality, regional and sustainable products in the heart of Vienna. And this around the clock. The store combines our innovative technology with a connection to nature.

The range includes certified organic food, quick meals for lunch breaks and coffee-to-go. Thanks to the collaboration with “Local Heroes”, marktzeit offers a wide selection of regional products. The products in stock can be checked on the marktzeit website, ordered via foodora or selected directly at the store terminal.

bk World turns charging time into quality time: directly at charging parks, the lounges offer comfortable waiting areas, snacks and drinks, modern sanitary facilities and entertainment during the charging break.

The modular lounge solutions are designed, built and operated for charging parks and mobility hubs. Automated supply and 24/7 access create a flexible addition to charging infrastructure.

PROWASH stands for modern vehicle care with high-quality car washes, wash tunnels and self-service bays. At the Krefeld location, an indoor wash park was created to take the PROWASH experience to a new level.

The more than 5,000 sqm site combines two state-of-the-art wash tunnels, 12 self-service bays and 57 vacuum stations with additional services around car care, drinks and snacks.

In cooperation with Tesla and our customer migrolino, we opened the first smarkBox outside Germany in December 2019 on the site of Tesla's Supercharger station near Zurich. The shopping station offers around 300 products around the clock. In addition to the outdoor Pick-me station, this Tesla station in Dietikon also offers drivers a lounge to relax.

Purchases are made either via an ordering terminal on site or via app and can be collected from the pick-up terminal immediately after ordering.

Together with our customer real, we opened the second generation of the smarkStore in Stuttgart-West in August 2019. Under the name "Emmas Enkel", it offered space for around 500 products. Purchases were made either via two ordering terminals on site or via app and could be collected from one of the two pick-up terminals immediately after ordering.

In addition to an attractive range of fresh fruit and vegetables from "Grünes Eck" and baked goods from "Brotfreunde Grau" and "La Boulangerie", there were also all kinds of coffee specialties to take away. After almost a year of round-the-clock shopping at Stuttgart's Rosenbergplatz, the project came to an end.

Our customer Festo has been using the smarkStore at its site in Scharnhausen since 2024 and provides its employees with a wide range of drinks, food, snacks and drugstore goods, regardless of whether they work the early, late or night shift. The smarkStore is stocked and maintained by Philitia Catering, which already operates the site's canteen. In addition to lean operations, this ensures access to basic supplies around the clock.

It all began in July 2017 with the first prototype at Stuttgart Central Station. A fully automated shopping station provided passers-by and commuters with food from the region around the clock & directly to take away.

Clad in the wood of an old barn from the Black Forest and equipped with smark technology, the "KesselKiste" initially stocked 22 items. At the beginning, our founders were in the box themselves, collecting valuable customer feedback at the same time. After a short time, the range was expanded to around 150 items.

In June 2019, the "KesselKiste" ceased operations due to renovation work for the S21 project. We look back on an exciting time with the "KesselKiste" and are delighted with many instructive experiences.
